Learn to Hunt Series
While making friendships with other first-time hunters, participants will experience a wide variety of instruction both in class and in the field. As a culmination of the program, AHEIA MAY offer mentored hunting experiences for participants during the month of November.
As mentored hunt spaces are limited, priority for the one-on-one mentored hunt with available instructors will be given to those who attend most classes.
The first workshop in this series is Monday, March 9, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Edmonton Conservation Education Center for Excellence at Unit 88, 4003 98th Street, Edmonton.
A $100 refundable deposit, payable after your first session, holds your seat for the entire series. There may be additional fees for range days, ammunition, etc. Online registration is currently open.
The cost of the course is by donation. As we are a registered charity, the donations we receive support Conservation Education programming such as this firearms safety course, youth and family outdoor education, women's camps, mentored hunts, fishing education and boating safety.
