Learn to Hunt Series
While making friendships with other first-time hunters, participants will experience a wide variety of instruction both in class and in the field. As a culmination of the program, AHEIA MAY offer mentored hunting experiences for participants during the month of November.
As mentored hunt spaces are limited, priority for the one-on-one mentored hunt with available instructors will be given to those who attend most classes.
Introduction and information session to the program is Monday, February 23, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Edmonton Conservation Education Center for Excellence at Unit 88, 4003 98th Street, Edmonton. Workshop dates to be determined at that time. Please call 780-466-6682 to register for this session only.
A $100 refundable deposit will reserve the numerous classes with possible additional fees for range days (ammunition) added. Online registration will open February 24.
The cost of the course is by donation. As we are a registered charity, the donations we receive support Conservation Education programming such as this firearms safety course, youth and family outdoor education, women's camps, mentored hunts, fishing education and boating safety.
